National Night Out - Tuesday, October 1 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. - MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!

National Night Out is almost here! This is the annual event hosted at the Forest Oaks Swim and Racquet Club focused on celebrating and engaging with our local law enforcement and emergency response personnel while also mingling and enjoying the company of our neighbors and larger community.

This year's event will be on Tuesday, October 1 form 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the main pavilion at the Forest Oaks Swim and Racquet Club and will include Woodall's BBQ, community potluck dishes and desserts, free sodas and water, games and activities for the kids, raffles and giveaways, and also a short ceremony unveiling the naming of two of our Forest Oaks Park lakes!

This event is free for residents of WCID110 and while we hope you can stay and hang out for a little while, we also understand if you can only stop by to grab some food and say hi to a couple of people. However you can be a part of this event, we appreciate you coming!

There is no event registration to attend, but we will have QR codes posted around the event space for those wanting to participate in the raffles we will have throughout the evening.

We want to thank Jim Stone and the entire Woodall's BBQ family for the amazing meal they provide for the event. If you have never had Woodall's, you are in for a treat! I've eaten plenty of BBQ in my time and this is some of the best I've ever had.

We also want to thank the Precinct 4 Constables and Spring Fire Department for their participation in this event every year. We are lucky to have such dedicated and professional emergency response personnel in our area. During the event, we want to make sure that our community takes some time to speak with officers, deputies, and firefighters. We even encourage some of you to possibly challenge an officer or firefighter to a friendly game of connect 4 or cornhole!

We also want to thank Topgolf Spring for their donation of a $50 gift certificate which will be raffled off during the event. Along with the TopGolf certificate, we will also be raffling off vehicle safety kits, vehicle storage units, and more!
