Electronic Recycling and Paper Shredding - Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. - noon
WCID110 is hosting another electronic recycling and paper shredding event for our residents on Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. - noon. This is a mostly free event and you are welcome to bring any items on the list to be recycled. There is a charge for some older items like tube TV's or tube computer monitors and those are paid at the event to the recycling company.
This event will take place in the lower tennis parking lot and trucks will be located in the back of that lot so you can easily drive through without having to park and get out of your vehicle. We want to keep traffic moving, so please follow instructions from event staff when driving through.
More details and maps are available on the District website: https://www.wcid110.com/ewasteeventpage

PAPER SHREDDING
For paper shredding, same location and follow staff instructions on where to drive your vehicle to. Stop your car and staff will unload any boxes or bags of paper you have. We will carry it to the shredding truck and Best Trash staff will shred it as soon as they can on-site.
All metal must be removed from all paper before being shredded. Any paper with staples, paperclips, brads, clips, etc. will not be able to be shredded as it has the potential to start a fire due to the heat associated with the shredding. Please remove all metal before arriving so you can just park, shred, and be done with it.
