Best Trash Debris Pick-up Update on Tuesday, 7/30 at 2 p.m.

We have created a singluar landing page for all post-Beryl information from the District. You can get it from the District home page by clicking on the Hurricane Beryl image in the orange section at the top of the page or you can click here to go directly to that information.

Normal Trash and Recycling Services

  • Normal trash days are Wednesdays and Saturdays. Have trash in proper location by 7:00 a.m.

  • Recycling is picked up on Saturdays and should be separate from trash in a recycling bin/cart or a clear plastic bag.

  • Best Trash WILL PICK UP bagged storm debris in any color plastic bag and any properly bundled limbs as long as they are in the proper location when the truck comes through.

Storm Debris Pick-up

  • WCID110 provided debris pick-up through Best Trash at no additional cost to residents. This is something the board is happy to provide as it helps ALL residents.

  • THIS IS GOING TO TAKE SEVERAL DAYS TO CLEAR DEBRIS, SO PLEASE BE PATIENT.

  • Best Trash grappler truck will be back in the district on Wednesday through Saturday. They hope to be done with all pick-up by Saturday of the all the big piles.

  • If you have small piles with small limbs/branches and lots of leaves/pine needles...please bag those and leave them next to your normal household trash for pick up on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The grapple truck will not pick up small piles of small debris and the normal trash pick-up will not pick it up if it isn't bagged. Reminder that Best Trash DOES NOT CARE if bags are clear or color. If it is out with the normal household trash, they will pick it up. The clear bag requirement is for Precinct 3 pick-up, which we still know nothing about for our area.

  • There are still around about 75-100 houses who have BIG PILES that are the priority for the grapple truck.

  • Best rule-of-thumb: if your pile is mostly small limbs/branches and a lot of leaf debris that you could pick up and carry somewhere, bag and/or bundle it. If you pile has tree chunks in it and only the strongest of the strong could possibly lift it, that is a big pile and the grapple truck will get it.

Precinct 3 provided debris pick-up

  • We have received no communication as to when Precinct 3 debris pick-up will be in our area so we encourage anyone wanting to know more to check the Precinct 3 website or social media accounts for information. They are clearing debris by zones but I have not been able to find a map with zones.

  • We do know that Precinct 3 is requiring any bagged debris to be in clear bags for their pick-up...again, this is not the WCID110 policy with Best Trash service. You can see Precinct 3 debris pick-up details on their website.

Don't want to wait?

  • Any resident can contact any company or person and pay for debris removal on their own.

The below graphic (BUNDLE TREE DEBRIS PROPERLY) is for debris bundling if you want it picked up with NORMAL TRASH...this not for grapple truck up of large scale debris.
